Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp (Canadian actress) is best known for her leading roles in countless television series, but also her impressive performances on film. She is popular on both Canadian as well as American TV. Emily became interested in the acting when she was 12. When she was 12, Emily visited her elder sister Katie on the set of a film. She began taking classes in acting, and then auditioning following realizing she had a passion for acting. After a few successful commercials she was quickly booked in the Canadian kids' horror TV series Are You afraid to be in the Dark? In one single scene she was not even speaking even a single word. In the year she turned 15, Emily got her biggest breakthrough when she became an official character on the WB TV show Glory Days. Although the show was canceled after nine episodes Emily's performance caught the eye of Dawson's Creek writer Greg Berlanti who cast her in his television show Everwood. Emily was also a dancer, as well as a photographer. Teen once named her one of the most talented actors under the age of twenty. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked Emily at 51.
