Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci (Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej currently Onesti) Romanian Gymnast born November 12, 1961. She was the first Romanian to receive a score of 10 in an Olympic event. Bela Karalyi came across Comaneci when she was six. Comaneci would go on to become Romania's gymnastics coach. The first time she competed at the national junior championships of 1969 placing 13th and she was the winner in 1970. Her first ever international event in 1972 she came out on top having won three golds. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior, held in 1975. This was her first time she had competed as a senior. She was the first female to ever successfully complete the backwards double salto when dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in entertainment in her teens in which she was a part of an ice skating duo along with her sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her career as an entertainer when she was a teenager. Her career began with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling spectacle of entertainment. The shows were skaters who were performed to music from the stage.
