Katherine Heigl opens up with the world regarding her "white bubble childhood" and how it has affected her parenting style for her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with actress Katherine Heigl, who plays "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her body didn't matter to her. However, when having a conversation with her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society had treated them, she was aware of the stark differences the two were. I asked Meg whether, while out with her parents, she got a particular treatment while out on her own she received a different one. Meg responded "Oh, yes, every moment!" Heigl explained to Parents: "That was when I realized that my naivety had resulted in me feeling." Heigl admitted she became upset and believed it was crucial to put her anger on helping her adoptee daughters. The couple, who are married to Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr., 4, have been together for thirteen years. In 2009, they adopted Nancy Leigh (12), one of their daughters from South Korea, and Adalaide (8, a black child) in the year 2012.
